Texas Healthcare Advisory Council Selects TeamConnor as its Philanthropic Partner for Q2

Texas Healthcare Advisory Council (THAC) is the premier non-profit healthcare organization
serving North Texas where healthcare professionals go for engaging education on emerging
healthcare topics, collaboration among colleagues, updates on healthcare legislation, and
dedicated philanthropy to enhance our community.

Each year, THAC selects four philanthropic partners from the region to highlight and raise
awareness among their members and throughout the community. THAC was thrilled to select
TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation as its philanthropic partner this past quarter, April
through June of 2021.

THAC invited TeamConnor to share more about the organization and its mission at its monthly
member meetings and enjoyed presentations from TeamConnor founder Joy Kruse and
Executive Director, Emily Allbright. A couple of Board Members, Christie Hutchinson and
Carolyn Simons also happily served as a volunteer at the 16th Annual III Forks Golf Classic
benefitting TeamConnor this Spring. We ended our quarter with a celebratory Happy Hour with
a Twist and a call to action for our members – Help TeamConnor fill Kidzbinz for Children’s
Health and Cooks Children’s Hospital! Our Happy Hour was a rousing success with more than
150 toys, books, puzzles, and games being donated. In addition, we were able to raise and
present TeamConnor with $2,600 in cash donations. Our members look forward to reuniting
with TeamConnor in September to help distribute the Kidzbinz.
