New Drugs to be Developed for Children
Stewart Powell from the Houston Chronicle wrote an article about pharmaceutical firms getting incentives to develop childhood cancer drugs. See full article here: http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Pharmaceutical-firms-to-get-incentives-for-child-3687176.php The issue at hand was pharmaceutical companies could not make a profit from developing drugs for rare childhood cancers. Now, the government is going to provide incentives to the companies so modern day advances can be made. The lack of new drugs and treatments has resulted in kids dying from the disease.
