$100,000 awarded to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX

The TeamConnor Childhood  Cancer Foundation awarded Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas $100,000 to fund neuroblastoma research.  Texas Children’s Hospital has created a new clinical trial for patients with neuroblastoma that has either come back after treatment or never went away in the first place. Although this trial focuses on children with neuroblastoma, the results could help other children and adults with hard to treat cancers by allowing scientists to understand new ways to use chemotherapy and immunotherapy to fight disease.
